I’m a lover of all things with buffalo sauce! Buffalo Chicken Skewers and Buffalo Chicken Salad are my go-to’s when I am craving my favorite spicy sauce. This recipe came from my attempt to make buffalo cauliflower hummus.
I made it a few times using tahini, but I was not happy with the results. There was something that was not quite right. I ran out of tahini and tried it without. SOOO Yum! I know everyone is on the cauliflower kick these days, but seriously, this dip is delish!!!
Tammy’s Tips For Buffalo Cauliflower Dip
Buffalo Sauce – I used Primal Kitchen Buffalo Sauce. When choosing your sauce, just be sure to check the ingredient label. Some buffalo sauces contain refined oils and other unwanted ingredients. I recommend adding your sauce a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired level of spiciness. I used 2 tablespoons of sauce. We like it spicy and that was perfect for us. You can also drizzle some sauce on the cauliflower before baking for some extra flavor and spice.
Toppings – I topped my sauce with a little fresh cilantro. Blue cheese and green onion would also be yummy.
For Serving – Serve with veggies and/or whole-grain crackers. Cucumbers, celery, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, and bell peppers are my faves. Serve it warm, at room temperature, or cold. You won’t be disappointed!
