This homemade balsamic vinaigrette is a staple in our house. It has just a few ingredients and takes minutes to make. So yummy and much better than store bought!
One of the first things we ditched when we started cleaning up our act in the kitchen was store-bought salad dressing. When I read the ingredient labels, I found they contained high amounts of sodium, refined oils, modified food starch, and artificial flavors. We always had several bottles on our fridge door and rarely finished any of them before they expired.
Making homemade salad dressing is so easy and so much healthier than store bought. They are so easy to customize and come together in minutes. This balsamic vinaigrette is my favorite dressing. I always have a jar handy and since the ingredients are staples in my kitchen, it’s easy to whip up another batch when I run out.

Homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette

- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- dash salt and pepper
- 3/4 cup olive oil
Instructions

Add all of the ingredients to a jar and cover. Shake until well mixed.
If you are not using a jar, whisk the first 4 ingredients together in a medium bowl until well blended. Add in the olive oil, whisking constantly until well mixed.
