Create a cozy space for your holiday guests with these easy to put together guest room essentials. Make your guests feel welcome and special with just a few simple touches. I’ve included some free must have printables to help you.
Hooray, the holidays are here! This is my favorite time of the year and I love having our out of town friends and family here to celebrate the season.
This year we will have a houseful for Thanksgiving. It will be the first time since February that I will have ALL of my kids home at the same time. My dad will be here too. I absolutely cannot wait!
I have had so much fun getting the guest rooms holiday ready. I love making everyone comfortable and welcome. Today I’m sharing some tips and free printables to help you pamper your holiday guests.
The link for the free printable bundle is at the end of the post. It includes all of the fall and Christmas printables I used to get my guest rooms holiday ready.
How To Get Your Guest Room Holiday Ready
1. Snacks
Setting out a basket with a snack or two and some water bottles is a great way to pamper your guests. I like to include something sweet and something salty. Both of my little baskets are from Target. I tied Enjoy the Treats tags to the baskets and put Be Our Guest wrappers on the water bottles.
2. Flowers
Adding some seasonal flowers is probably my favorite thing to include. I think it’s such a pretty addition and really shows your guests you were thinking about them before their arrival. I placed some tissues with Relax and Enjoy wrappers on the nightstands as well.
3. Wifi Password
Having your wifi password accessible for your guests is another small touch they will appreciate. I’ve included editable 5×7 and 8×10 Wifi Password printables in the free bundle.
4. Toiletries
A basket or jar with toiletries is helpful for anything your guests may have forgotten. I purchased travel size items from Dollar Tree and Target. If you are having a lot of guests, you can place the items in a bathroom for everyone’s convenience. I bought one of my jars from Ikea and the other one from Target. I taped cute little Welcome Signs to the front of the jars.
5. Towels
Make sure you have plenty of nice towels handy for your visitors. I like to put some in the guest room as well as the bathroom. I keep my guest towels hidden away when we do not have anyone visiting. My boys are notorious for destroying my nice white towels. Tying a ribbon around the towels with a Relax and Enjoy note is a nice finishing touch.
I hope these tips and printables will help you to create a cozy holiday guest room for your friends and family. Remember it’s the “Small Gestures” that make a big difference! 😉
