Happy New Year! I thought it would be fun to look back and do a round-up of the 10 most popular SGM blog posts of 2019.
2019 was a big year here at SGM! My little blog has grown quite a bit since last year which is so exciting! I am still learning and appreciate all the feedback that you all have been giving me.
I love seeing what posts were the most popular at the end of the year. It gives me insight and helps me to plan my content for the new year. My number one priority is to create a space that you will find informative, useful, and inspiring. Whether it’s a healthy recipe, healthy lifestyle tip, or a fun and creative way to make your family and friends feel special.
At the beginning of 2018, my friend Jill and I created a Clean Fit Lifestyle Group which many of you joined. We did a few 6-week challenges and many of our members requested that hydration be addressed in our challenges. I did some research and wrote this post to help anyone struggling with water intake. It’s definitely helped me especially this winter!
This one was a big surprise! I was hesitant to share this recipe because I just figured that everyone had a favorite chicken salad recipe. I didn’t think anyone would be interested. I was sooo wrong! The post was published just before Labor Day Weekend. It was a huge hit, and it got the most views in one day than any other post all year!
This post was published in July of 2018. It is one of my favorite recipes, but it didn’t get much love until I became a professional photographer. LOL!!! I am nowhere close to being a professional photographer, but I did take a photography class at the beginning of 2019 and I am getting a little better. The original pics were not very good, so I updated them and it looks like my delicious bagels received the attention they deserved. 😉
I had the idea for this post in my head for a lonnng time! These swaps are what have kept us on track with our healthy eating habits for the last 7 years!
I point everyone that has questions on where they should start to this post. It lists all of the things I wish I knew when we started clean eating after Tom had his heart attack. This post was #8 on my most popular posts of 2018 list.
I had so much fun testing meal kit delivery services for my Back to School Meal Planning and Meal Prep Series in 2018. This post gets a lot of love in the fall and in January. It was #10 on last year’s list.
You all know that I love creating tablescapes. It’s important for me to share practical tablescapes that anyone can put together and not spend a ton of money. The centerpiece for this scape cost under $20.
This post was published in November of 2018 and even though it wasn’t published until late in the year, it was my #1 post of 2018. It has been a popular post all year! Hosting guests is my favorite thing to do, so this makes me so happy!!!
This tablescape was one of my most favorite tablescapes ever! It was published in October of 2018. It was a challenge to put it together for under $20 because I wanted to include more than just a centerpiece. The buffalo plaid placemats are still my favorite!
You guys! This post blew every other post out of the water!!! It has 3 times as many pageviews as #2. It has gotten views almost every day since it was published in the spring. I always make my homemade bagels and set up a bagel bar whenever we have overnight guests, so it was fun creating this post and the free printables with my designer.
The pic below was taken by one of the members of the SGM community and long-time friend Karen. Didn’t she do a fabulous job? She is incredibly talented and owns her own baking and decorating business. I have ordered her cookies for multiple occasions. They are amazing! You can find her on Instagram @thecookieboxbykaren and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/thecookieboxbykaren/.
Well that wraps up the Top 10 Post of 2019! It looks like you want to create healthy habits in the kitchen, and judging from the top 4, you all enjoy creating small gestures for your family and friends just as much as I do!
